Luna’s Story: Bouncing Back Better than Ever

Luna is a 2-year-old mixed breed pup that was happy, healthy and full of life. Suddenly, all that changed and Luna’s Mom immediately started looking for answers.

It all started when Luna began to have problems keeping her food down.

Luna’s Mom took quickly got her an appointment with their regular vet to find answers. After a number of visits to their vet and several trial and error attempts at new diets to rule out a food allergy, they could still not figure out what was wrong.

The symptoms became more severe and Luna started to have blood in both her vomit and stool and she was rapidly losing weight.

At this time, their primary vet suggested they see a specialist, whom then recommended a colonoscopy and endoscopy to help find out what was really going on.

The specialist diagnosed Luna with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Since her diagnosis, Luna has been put on a medical regimen, has gained back 22lbs, and is doing better than ever!
