5 Ways To Reduce The Risk Of Your Cat Developing Cancer
We love our pets and as pet parents, we have…
$4,557.24 – Paid to the family of Fuego, a 7 year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback.
In November 2013 Fuego began battling cancer. A tumor was found in the soft pallet of his mouth near the back of his throat that unfortunately, could not be removed. As the tumor grew it was impacting his breathing so his pet parents opted for a permanent tracheotomy. The surgery allowed Fuego to return to his normal activities and so far cancer hasn’t slowed him down a bit. He still runs and plays at the dog park and is excited to see his pet parents every day. Thanks to Fuego’s PetFirst pet insurance, his family was reimbursed for most of his treatment costs totaling $5,113.10.
