Think You Need A Third Hand, How About ‘The Fifth Paw’?

Recently I had the opportunity to test out The Fifth Paw.

Its purpose is to provide an easier, safer and more convenient way to carry around a used dog doo bag. The Fifth Paw is designed to work with most woven and leather leashes and has separate slots for varying thicknesses. Attaching the product to your leash is very intuitive, but the company also provides instructions on the product packaging as well as a demo video on their web site so you can be sure it is securely attached to your leash. You can access their website by following this link:

I have 3 dogs, but for this review I went with my big guy and took a few trial runs with Marley, my St. Bernard- you can imagine the mess he leaves. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised with how much I appreciated having this handy gadget for the walk! Since he is a larger dog, we use a wide leash which is also on the thicker side and it was no problem at all to put The Fifth Paw on it. I was able to attach both my keys and the doo bag (before AND after use) to The Fifth Paw which made holding onto the leash and keeping Marley on track much easier than usual. Based on how much easier this made our walk, I foresee The Fifth Paw being a staple on future adventures and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a better solution for cleaning upafter your dog!
